This is a homage, as they say, to one of my favourite poets, Louis MacNeice. I was looking out at the rotten weather from my cosy sitting room and the disparity made me think of MacNeice's famous poem 'Snow'. It struck me that, although it runs to three four-line stanzas, there's something quite haiku-like about its detached, observational quality.

You can read 'Snow' here if you like.
I like people who leave comments on their own posts.
And I love this line: "world is crazier and more of it than we think." Perfect.
